Ananda uses the technique of the "Old Masters": painting in different layers with varnish in between, which takes more time, but adds more depth, transparency and shine to the painting. All of her paintings can be commissioned in oil. Depending on the number of orders, the completion may take 2-3 months because of the time for painting, drying and varnishing the different layers.

If there is any jewellery in the painting, it is lovingly hand-set with shining Svarovski gem stones, which catch and reflect the light in a way, which paint can never reach and add a three-dimensional element to it. The effect of such a painting with the gold and the glittering gem-stones - especially in the evening in the right lighting - is stunning!
